Nexolon America has the go-ahead to start building a manufacturing plant in San Antonio, TX.

According to the San Antonio Express-News, city council passed four ordinances, giving the go-ahead for the South Korean solar-panel manufacturing company to build.

The manufacturing headquarters, which will be located at the Brooks City-Base Campus, will bring 404 new jobs, along with funding from the city and CPS Energy.

According to the publication, OCI Solar Power and CPS Energy agreed to a 400MW solar energy project in July, but the contract required OCI to establish a plant in San Antonio. As OCI’s primary solar panel supplier, Nexolon will fulfill that obligation.
